I don't know where else I should say, coz I don't know if people around me would understand me. So here I am, asking for advice/opinion.
So the story is, I already passed on this one job interview, in which I LIKE the job position. As a medical lab technologist (MLT) at the government health clinic. BUT the thing is, it's been more than a month I have been waiting for the official letter! Waiting and waiting, without any answer. I'm even afraid of applying the other job since I thought I REALLY GOT THAT JOB. And at times, I feel like give up of waiting. This may seems like an excuse but it's not that I don't want to apply other job... But it's hard to get job nowadays and while I got this job easily. So I'm afraid to let it go, that's why I'm still waiting.
And at that waiting, my lecturer offered me to work as research assistant for 3 months. Of course it was kinda tempting because I feel kinda desperate to work now after that long waiting. It would give such good experience but, I don't know. The research assistant will be for 3 months only but the MLT will be until December this year. And I think I like the MLT work more, but it just that I have to WAIT for how many days, I don't even know! I don't know when I will get the answer..
Oh ya I did sent an email to ask them about the job date, but they said this issue they are still waiting words from the upper management. So yeah.
Plus, working as research assistant will be kinda alone while working as MLT will be working with others. It's kinda pathetic saying this but, I don't really like working alone coz it feels like I will be lonely. Both like have pros and cons though...
I don't know which one I should grab and which I should let it go. I don't know if you understand my situation here but, hopefully someone did. Help me to open my eyes clearly and make a best decision for me.
