So this is a long story...
My friend S has always had a thing for the damsel in distress. Which caused him to date this girl in high school who lied to him about being on birth control and got pregnant. Now I hated and distrusted this girl from the start but didn't say anything because he seemed happy. They had a daughter and got married and all seemed good, until she had an affair with his cousin and then revealed she had been cheating on him for years. So he kicked her out and got full custody of their daughter. Flash forward to a year ago he met a woman with 4 kids by 4 different men. Same gut feeling, I don't trust her, I don't like her. But after two weeks she has him wrapped around her finger. I tell him my concerns, that he should be careful and watch himself. He tells me not to worry and that he's got it. So being adults and friends for a decade at that point I drop it. Now talking to him one on one is nearl impossible at that point because she constantly has to be around him or make him drag one of her kids along to spy on us. So long story short, she finds out that I don't like her and that I'm watching her and begins to isolate me from my group of friends. She has my friend ban me from his apartment and then bans him from seeing or talking to me. Changes his phone number and checks all his call and messages every night. Now my other friends notice how insane she's being and speak up. She starts to isolate them too. So when my friend starts to realize what's going on. Surprise! She's pregnant! Now he can't leave her because he has a responsibility to the child. Doesn't understand that he doesn't have to be with her to take of the kid. All the advice I've been given is that I just need to wait and if he's a true friend we'll be good. But at this point I feel like I need to slap him. Oh and she made him quit his job that he loved and easily supported him and his daughter to get a higher paying job at a warehouse, while she doesn't work and all the money gets for child support goes to stuff for her. What can I do? (A lot of this that I wasn't there to witness came from his brother who I'm still good friends with and is equally worried about him)
