Well there is your problem. He found an opportunity with a friend and you should do the same

When you ask him to spend more time with you what does he say?

What is your long term plan with him? Are either of you moving to be with the other one? If not is this really worth it?

He is who he is.

Talk it out with him; maybe he doesn't realise how you feel, and maybe he'll want to change his ways.

But be warned; if you try change him against his will, he'll likely resent it - and you.

If you are planning to be married, you need to think long and hard if this is the guy you want to spend the rest of your life with - doesn't matter how great a guy he is, he also has to be someone you can live with, someone who is there for you and (if you plan to have them), your children.
